To Whom It May Concern,

It is with sincere gratitude that we write this letter to thank you for your time, patience, understanding, and expert advice.   You have guided us through the most difficult times of special education by providing us with legal interpretation, navigating school politics and policy, and most importantly, how to exercise our rights under IDEA.

When we first started on our journey, we thought special education was going to provide our son with the tools he needed to master his weaknesses while preserving his dignity.  We had no idea what we were up against, nor did we believe that our school system was not prepared for a child with a reading disability.  We trusted, and he was hurt terribly.

It wasn’t until we came upon your help that the clouds started to part and special education was understood.  It was then, that we fully understood why we have rights under IDEA, and why they were so important to families of special needs children.  It was when you offered your services of guidance and letter writing, that our letters to the school district were answered, IEP’s were changed, and the school based IEP team started to listen to us.

We still have a long road ahead of us, but with your guidance we remain hopeful.  Thank you for teaching us how to advocate for our child.

Very truly yours,

Steve and Debbie Robel

To Whom It May Concern,

Just wanted to write and express our sincere appreciation for your help with several letters related to correspondence with the school.  Your advice has proved to be right on target.  It was not only was accurate, but you backed up your suggestions with appropriate resources.  The school didn’t have to take our your word for it, I was able to provide the actual section that is referenced under IDEA. Your insights and support were helpful in preparation for several meetings with school staff.

Our daughter certainly benefited and we are pleased to provide you with this letter of recommendation.  You know how to advocate for children and any parent or child who is fortunate enough to have you on their team will be benefited by your services.

Best Wishes,

Darla Hatton

My name is Amanda Arteno, and I live in California.  I have been relaying on Diana Pucci to help me write letters to my son’s school district for years.  Diana has knowledge of special education law and personal experience.  She has been one of the greatest assets for information in my battle to help my dyslexic son receive services.  I highly recommend Diana as a special education advocate.
Sincerely,
