When/how am I available?

I am available via email and phone, and as long as it’s not 12 midnight, I’m willing to talk to you anytime!

What is my experience and background?

I have two special-needs children, and for my daughter who has many LD’s,(CAPD, dsylexic, expressive/receptive language disorder) it was a continual battle with the district(s) to obtain the services and remediations that were appropriate for her.  I did this for 10 years, while she was in school.  My other child (son) had ADHD at a time when it was only beginning to be  accepted as having an effect on learning and at a time when it first became eligible for an IEP classification.

For the past five years, I have advocated for parents via the internet, including writing letters, sharing information, and speaking with them personally.  You can read their comments under ‘Testimonials.’  I also am a moderator and contribute regularly to several special education message boards.
